Princess Ball

A night to celebrate….YOU!! For all the beautiful ladies of Gen. Now this night is all about you! God has a unique role and destiny for each girl in His kingdom and it all begins with you knowing your true identity as PRINCESS!

Come to Princess Ball where you will get pampered, get to try on beautiful dresses, get prizes, be entertained, and learn what it means to be a Princess in God’s Kingdom.

This ball is for all girls in Grades 1st through 6th and their Moms/Guardians/Aunties/Grandmothers/Etc. Sign up by May 8th to reserve your spot for this grand event!!

Nathan is the Service Pastor each Sunday in The Arena (the kids area at HCC North Campus). He has a Father’s heart for this Generation and a deep desire to see them empowered to do the work of the ministry! This month he and his wife Elaina have been married for 2 years! So next time you see him tell him how much you appreciate all he does for Gen. Now!!! We Love You Pastor Nathan!!!!

If you are a parent you will not want to miss being a part of this group. Beginning Wednesday May 1st we will begin this new series that includes biblical truths about parenting all ages. This important topic is timely and applicable to all. Let’s begin building community and support for parenting through all the joys and challenges. May 10, 2013 starting at 6 o clock in the evening we will have an evening of pampering, dining, and entertainment as we celebrate in a Royal way. Princesses young and …more mature :) are welcome to join in this beautiful event.

Neon Egg Hunt

This ain’t your Grandma’s Easter Egg Hunt!!! This year we are shaking things up like never before. Come on out on March 29th at 6 pm ready to party as we celebrate The LIGHT of the world conquering death and sin!

Wear your brightest brights and whitest whites because there will be black lights that will make you look extra rad if you do. The cost of this event is just $3 and that covers the cost of food and activities. There will be prizes, tons of candy, and so much fun your head will be spinning! Don’t forget to sign up at the Info Table in The Underground or The Arena to reserve your spot!!

 

Missions March

This Sunday starts “Missions March”!! For the whole month of March we will have a “competition” of sorts– boys vs girls of course— to see who can raise the most for a good friend of ours going to a far away land to preach the good news just like Jesus told us to!

The competition goes like this: for every coin it is NEGATIVE points to your team, and for every dollar it is POSITIVE points.

Lets give give give give so that many will come to know our King all around the world!

February 2013 Update

Bible Reading Plans
Daily Bible reading is important for spiritual growth and discipline. Often the trouble with daily Bible reading is not knowing where to start?! We have made it easy for Generation Now Kids to get into their word daily and grow deeper with God! Each week we have highlighted a chapter or two from the Gospels that have to do with what we talked about in Accelerate (Sunday Morning experience) that week. This year we are taking the kids on a journey through the Gospels where we look at the stories in order as they happened and see how God would use us in those same ways as Disciples of Jesus.
Here is this month’s reading schedule:
February 3-9: John 2:1-13
February 10-16: John 2:14-25
February 17-23: John 3
February 24- March 2nd: John 4:1-42

Kids Camp
Kids Camp is a powerful time of getting rocked for God and making memories that will last a lifetime!! Camp is 4 crazy days filled with outdoor activities such as: archery, BMX bikes, swimming, BB guns, hiking and team competition.

The age group is 3rd-6th grade and the Cost is $250 per child.

Mrs. Liz is one of the Crew Leaders for the 34 crew on Wednesday nights and leads Create on Sunday nights. She is a joy and delight to anyone who is around her!! Her love for the kids is evident in all that she does as she pours into our world changers every week. We love her and appreciate all that she does to make Generation Now a place where kids feel valued and loved every time they come.

Cookie Fundraiser 2013
Cookie Fundraiser 2013 launched this past Sunday, but it is not too late to hop on board! We are giving you guys 3 WHOLE WEEKS this year to get as many cookies sold as possible. Check out the prize page and you will see what all the buzz is for this years cookie sellers.

Proceeds from this fundraiser allow us to minister to your kids in quality and excellence on a weekly basis as well as put on some of the BEST kids events around! Last year with the proceeds we were able to fund The Princess Ball, which was absolutely free to every mother and daughter who attended and they walked away being pampered and encouraged in their identity in Christ! We were also able to put on Kids Holy Spirit Conference, send kids to camp, and do many much needed renovations to our kids areas at both locations of HCC.

Join us as we go after our biggest goal yet in order for us to reach more kids with the Gospel in 2013!
